He gets paid every Thursday by check. The banks are only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, andSaturdays. The eye doctor is closed on Saturday. The market stays closed on Thursday and Friday. On what day did the man go to town?
Answer: Tuesday. Thursday and Friday the market is closed. Saturday the doctor's office is closed. It is evident he cashed his check because he had more money in the evening than he did when he left in the morning. He got lpaid on Thurday and went to town on the following Tuesday when the bank, doctor's office, and market were all open.
